According to a report by Science and Technology Daily, the Hohhot Municipal Party Committee’s Publicity Department in Saihan District announced on the 13th that the world’s largest 450‑kilogram‑class ultra‑large‑size, high‑quality sapphire crystal grown by the Kyocera method has been successfully produced at the production workshop of Inner Mongolia Jinghuan Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. This crystal was independently developed by Jinghuan Electronics’ R&D team and, after nearly eight months of design and development, equipment fabrication, annealing, and crystal growth, achieved successful small‑scale trial production on the 13th.
